For each project we undertake, we develop an application by looking at its life cycle and the users at each stage:

Requirement Analysis

• current plus future needs by ensuring the application is expandable
• think through all possible business scenarios and how they are to be catered for, whether or not the functionality is to be implemented at this stage

Design and Development

• ensures that the application is user-friendly (our aim is that user manuals and training should be minimal or not required at all)
• established standards to ensure structured and maintainable code

Testing

• unit testing, overall testing as well as performance testing
• testing by multiple staff

Deployment
applications are designed to be easily deployable to minimise user problems and raise user acceptance

Maintenance, Changes and Enhancements
where application behaviour can vary depending on environmental conditions, configuration settings are exposed which make changes easy without changes in code

A staged approach is encouraged to ensure business benefits are justified. Therefore, maintainability and expandability is a key component in our design and development phase.

Before significant resources are thrown into a project, it may sometimes be worthwhile to produce a prototype to verify:

• business benefits are justified
• business objective is technically feasible and can be achieved within budget
• evaluate the best / easiest approach to achieve objective
• user acceptance

Because of our knowledge in a wide range of technical fields, we provide mentoring to our client's internal staff using:

• projects we have completed before
• providing development approach, initial design, and standards
• sample or re-usable software components
• pointers to major resources

The objective is to enable the client to become self-sufficient. Our services then becomes problem solving and high-level assistance.
